United Arab Emirates

Dubai has been the Group's commercial centre since 1967, when a licence obtained from Abu Dhabi opened the first Jan Bros shop in the Old Souq, Bur Dubai. The head office and three trading premises sit within Deira, alongside the Gold Souq and the historic Deira markets.

Kingdom of Bahrain

Bahrain is where the business began. The founder arrived in Manama in the 1920s and started trading from a tent in 1930. Four premises operate in the capital today, including the parent company, M. M. Joofri & Sons.

Since 2003 · Wholesale distribution

Sultanate of Oman

Operations began in 2003 with premises in the wholesale market of Muttrah, Muscat — one of the oldest trading quarters in the Gulf. A second office serves the south from Salalah.

Since 2010 · Wholesale distribution

State of Kuwait

The Group entered Kuwait in 2010, operating from Kuwait City's central business district.
